Didicas volcano is located 60 km off the northern coast of Luzon, Philippines.
1969 Eruption
Three people who were fishing near the volcano drowned in March 1969 from a volcanic tsunami caused by an eruption of the volcano. Eruptions were located in the northern part of island.
1952 Eruption
Didicas was a submarine volcano until 1952 when an eruption formed an island 1.5 miles in diameter and about 800 feet high above sea level.
